This project explores the visual logic and functional aesthetics of U.S. Army rank insignias. Despite their minimal appearance, each symbol carries dense information—representing hierarchy, role, and tradition. By translating these signs into interactive archive cards, I aim to preserve their communicative clarity while inviting viewers to reflect on the systems behind them.

Each card can be flipped open to reveal the actual embroidered insignia, emphasizing the tactile and authoritative nature of military communication design. The layout, typography, and materials echo the systematic order these ranks represent—clean, consistent, and precise.
