A scent has the power to transport you to a specific moment in time, much like a bookmark that guides you back to a particular page in a book. I often spray perfume on my bookmarks so that every time I open the book, the fragrance brings my thoughts back to the moment I last closed it. Inspired by this idea, I interviewed people about their favorite perfumes and created personalized bookmarks for them—serving as markers not just for their books, but for their daily lives.
