USPS has long been a civic symbol—linking communities, shaping national memory, and carrying a shared public identity. But much of this meaning has faded within its current visual system, where the institution’s history and its contemporary experience no longer align.

This project reexamines that legacy and rebuilds a unified visual language that preserves heritage while speaking to the present. Through simplified forms, clearer hierarchy, and human-centered cues, the system reconnects past and present, offering a USPS identity that feels trustworthy, approachable, and

unmistakably national.
